Senior Mechanical Engineer


Full time, Indianapolis, IN

Job Description

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will:

- Direct and lead the assigned project mechanical engineering staff

- Monitor engineering cost, product cost, and schedule of assigned jobs or projects

- Develop new ideas and concepts for improvement in engineering operations

- Provide assessments of facility conditions, review HVAC, plumbing and control system designs for smart buildings, review specifications, inspect and troubleshoot HVAC systems and controls, perform commissioning and provide mechanical design engineering

- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly project reports, organize and plan projects and develop cost estimates

- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Minimum Requirements

- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

- Minimum 10 years of experience

- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.)

- Experience in the design of HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems

- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, BIM/Revit

- Must possess good organizational skills

The Senior Electrical Engineer will:

- Direct and lead the assigned project electrical engineering staff

- Provide Engineering design services for various governmental, educational, commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.

- Serve as a project manager on engineering related projects.

- Monitor engineering cost, product cost, and schedule of assigned job or project.

- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly project reports, organize and plan projects and develop cost estimates

- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Minimum Requirements

- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university

- Minimum 10 years experience

- Registered Professional Registration (P.E.)

- Experience in the design of power distribution systems, lighting systems, telecommunication systems, fire alarm systems and other building related electrical systems such as CCTV, access control systems, public address, etc.

- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, BIM/Revit

- Must possess good organizational skills

- Effective communication skills
