Sustainable design is at the core of our beliefs. Each day our engineers implement sustainable design principles into the designs we provide our clients. When AEC purchased new office space at 1405 Dublin Road in 2012 it was quickly decided that the renovation would be designed to qualify for LEED Gold certification by the US Green Building Council. Our engineers spent countless hours assessing the original space, planning the new space, and creating designs to meet the second highest LEED certification level. In 2014, AEC completed office renovations and earned 61 points to achieve the LEED Gold certification status. Columbus Business First featured our renovation in an article published April 2014. Here are some highlights of principles implement and a look at the new office space. For a closer look, take a Google tour of our office.
